Brittany's Therapeutic Style

I have been supporting others on their personal journeys for 18 years by way of a dynamic clinical social work perspective. Within my social work degree, I became experienced in working with individuals to improve interpersonal, community and systemic relationships. I believe that community, support systems and coping skills can be the building blocks to less stress, improved relationships, and overall happiness

My therapeutic style is deeply grounded in inclusivity, trauma informed care and therapy that is very much guided by the client. In addition, I make great efforts to ensure clients are comfortable and that I take an empathetic approach by always offer a listening ear.

Amanda's Therapeutic Style

My therapeutic style is inclusive, person centered and trauma focused. One of my biggest focuses is to help my clients deepen their level of self acceptance and to cultivate an understanding of the narratives they have about their experiences. And how by altering their narrative, they can gain a new perspective and find a deeper level of self compassion. I use the creative process in my therapeutic work with my clients as another healing modality.

I have experience working with individuals who’ve experienced early childhood trauma and understand how it impacts our development over the life course and our relationships. I’ve worked with adults who’ve experienced multiple types of trauma and abuse, relationship issues, grief and loss, life transitions, anxiety, shame, as well as self confidence and self-esteem issues.

You don’t have to go it alone.
