Amanda's Therapeutic Style

My therapeutic style is inclusive, person centered and trauma focused. One of my biggest focuses is to help my clients deepen their level of self acceptance and to cultivate an understanding of the narratives they have about their experiences. And how by altering their narrative, they can gain a new perspective and find a deeper level of self compassion. I use the creative process in my therapeutic work with my clients as another healing modality.

I have experience working with individuals who’ve experienced early childhood trauma and understand how it impacts our development over the life course and our relationships. I’ve worked with adults who’ve experienced multiple types of trauma and abuse, relationship issues, grief and loss, life transitions, anxiety, shame, as well as self confidence and self-esteem issues.

You don’t have to go it alone. I would be honored to walk with you through your healing journey.  I am committed to providing my clients with a safe space where they feel valued and treated with dignity and respect as they explore the messy parts of their lives in order to heal.  I look forward to connecting with you to discover how I can support you.
