Emily Pelletier
Mental Health Intern
Emily Pelletier is a graduate intern pursuing her Master’s in Couple and Family Therapy. Her work is influenced by Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Attachment Theory, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Imago Relationship Therapy. Rooted in a person-centered foundation, Emily believes people are fundamentally good and capable of finding their own way forward, especially when they’re met with warmth, empathy, and unconditional positive regard.
She treats emotion as information rather than a symptom to manage and brings a curious, collaborative approach to her work with couples, families, and individuals. Emily has a particular interest in working with neurodivergent children, families, and adults, as well as teens and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem, trauma, parenting concerns, and life transitions. Her clinical interests also include supporting LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC clients.
For Emily, healthy relationships aren’t defined by the absence of conflict, but by a couple’s ability to repair and reconnect afterward. She holds an ongoing commitment to understanding how race, culture, and power shape the relationships and histories each client brings into the room.
