LB MILLER
Clinical Intern
LB Miller is a graduate student pursuing their Masters in Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling at Portland State University. With a background in both academic research and social services, they are passionate about collaborating with clients to figure out what strategies work for them, as well as addressing the structural factors that impact their mental health.
LB has completed course work in human growth and development, family life cycles, multicultural perspectives, and testing and assessment. They have pursued additional training in the mental health needs of BIPOC adoptees and in clinical work with Autistic Gender-Diverse Clients.
LB employs an eclectic approach to counseling with an underpinning of relational emotive theory. They also draw from solutions focused techniques and acceptance and commitment therapy.
